0526 | full moon total lunar eclipse in sagittarius: this lunar eclipse is going to have a lot of people at a push and pull standpoint (wanting to move forward or transform themselves, but still hanging onto the past and their old ways because it feels safe). this is another full moon where change will be a theme and strongly focuses on the areas of where self-sabotage can flourish such as our ego, our habits, our beliefs, our perception, our projections, and our understanding — ask yourself, what have you outgrown? if you’ve been feeling on edge lately where a lot of internal tension (anger, sadness, aggression, doubts) has been rising, then you’re probably feeling the effects of the eclipse. pay attention to what has been irritating you or disturbing your spirit; this may be the one area of your life that you need to focus on shifting/shedding. as i said, you will be tested with falling back into your old habits, but the best thing you can do during this time is to focus on growth.
0527 | venus square neptune: this aspect will certainly test your intuition. if you feel a little ‘off’ on this day, just know that’ll be venus square neptune. some people might experience their deep insecurities and shadows being brought to the forefront, which could trigger a lot of confusion — acting from a place of fear, distorted thinking (paranoia), etc. and because the energy of the eclipse will still be present, this venus square neptune may trigger the parts of yourself you project into your relationships that need your attention or relationship difficulties that are becoming too problematic to ignore. also, venus square neptune can highlight on addictions, especially if you fuel your insecurities by indulging in excessive behaviors (beware of overdosing if you use drugs).
0529 | mercury conjunct venus: mercury conjunct venus may be the time you want to establish and enforce boundaries (people from the past may start popping up, so figure out their place in your life) — i also wouldn’t be surprised if they hit your dm’s with a long, drawn out message, expressing how much they miss you or love you; use your discernment! mercury conjunct venus highlights on great communicative skills so this is also is a great moment for writers and creative artists — if you’re wanting to get your point across to others (debate about something), let someone know how you feel, or converse about astrology to your friends during a lunch date (lol, today would be the day).
0529 | mercury retrograde in gemini: mercury retrograde in gemini can get absolutely chaotic (especially with travel considering that this is a metal ox year; be very careful with your travels on wednesdays — planes, cars, trains, etc); you can expect communication issues (miscommunication, mail delays or delays involving information in general, secrets coming out, a lot of strong opinions being thrown around) and creative blocks (maybe this will be a time to rethink what is or isnt working for you by taking a new approach — take advantage of the full moon days before mercury retrogrades). people always attach fear to mercury retrograde, but this can really be a time for you to slow down and pay close attention to your surroundings and what you’re doing.
0531 | mars trine neptune: this aspect may give a boost to those people from your past (brought by mercury retrograde) the confidence or desire to want to make a move on you because of the action-oriented/fantasizing energy mars and neptune hold — if you plan on doing any one night stands or have any affairs, i would suggest avoiding this because someone could get a little too attached. with mars trine neptune, you can also expect people to start taking action on establishing a spiritual connection (looking up where to start — which, i have an ebook that could help, especially if you’re new to all of this).
COLLECTIVE READING
the message for the collective this week is very clear… we will be stepping into the role of being the teacher and the student.
the focus is for us to transform our beliefs that we’ve been attached to that no longer help propel us towards the future we see for ourselves; beliefs that we no longer align with that hinder us from reaching our goals. this will require — what you may hear the spiritual community talk about — going through a “spiritual awakening” or “rebirth”, which will definitely trigger a lot of vulnerability and honesty with ourselves to initiate. what some people will have to address:
pretending to hold onto beliefs that are not yours because it’s trending or sounds like the more accepted belief (pretending to be something their not)
being in denial of needing to change/be better or believing that there are no other beliefs to align with your greater good (example: saying “that’s just not who i am” or “this is just who i am so deal with it”)
continuously choosing to project onto others by denying unconscious aspects of themselves
fantasizing about applying all these new beliefs, but not actually working toward them and implementing them into your daily lifestyle (daydreaming about transforming themselves)
i do see that more people are willing to be receptive to new information that’ll help them learn to take full responsibility (of their thoughts, actions, etc) for where they are today and change the narrative from here on, whether it’s something they’re teaching themselves through their own experiences (inner work) or something they’re learning from a spiritual guide. but what needs to be understood is that you won’t see immediate changes and regression can happen. if you start with making small changes and root in the energy of tenacity (flowing and surrendering), you might lessen the chances of reverting back to your old ways (big emphasis on ‘might’).
once you open the door to personal enlightenment, needing to be the nurturer for yourself is gonna be key because it’s not going to be the easiest journey to travel through. i am seeing some people find their soul group (people they can relate to that can help them through this journey), but if you’re choosing to walk alone (which i do see some people isolating themselves), be ready to hug yourself and wipe your own tears... multiple times. you’re also gonna need patience because like i said, the change won’t come immediately, which it’s nothing to be discouraged about (or feel like you’re not making any progress cause you are).
for some people, this is going to feel like a sacrifice — like you’re giving up your favorite blanket you’ve been carrying since childhood, but in this case, it’s a blanket of comfort (comfort zone). you’re not gonna stop doing all of your old habits and behaviors at the snap of your fingers, it’s still going to be a slow process. there will be some very heavy emotions and intense realizations to go through, if you happen to be the part of the collective who resonates with this week’s reading, so just prepare yourself. the main thing is to go through this journey with a different way of looking at how you usually see things in order to liberate yourself from any chains that prevent you from moving forward.
